EXHIBITION NOTES

Marguerite "Marj" is an artist who is delving into impressionism, post-impressionism, cubism, fuvism, and expressionism. A native of Cagayan de Oro City who is currently based in Davao City. She started her interest in art at the age of 7 when she was chosen to represent in an art contest in their school. Since then, every trip to an art store gave her so much bliss. She did not have any formal training, and was lucky enough to be mentored by one of the most amazing artists, Chris Gomez. His mentorship has brought immense improvement in her technique, and style. Her paintings emanates different human emotions which she witnesses every day. As the artist explains, "I love to tell stories, and put hidden symbols or meanings through my work." She may not have won any prestigious awards yet, but her greatest prize is her innate talent. She firmly believes that one can always improve in any work if you set your mind on it.
