EXHIBITION NOTES

Karisse Medalla del Rosario is a 23 year old graphic designer and visual artist from Cebu, Philippines.  Art is her safe space where she can be vulnerable, honest, and be her authentic self.  Creativity was a sense of faculty suppressed in childhood but was later rediscovered in high school. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Advertising Arts from the University of San Carlos.  Karisse uses both traditional and digital forms to express art with an inclination to realism.  She hopes to continue to experiment with different mediums, further enhance her skills in Canada, chase stories, and experience all of life.
